EnrollmentsThe Higher Education Coordinating Board has called for stepped-up state investment to meet the growing demand for higher education through 2010. Washington's public colleges and universities will need to accommodate about 26,000 new full-time students (FTE) by 2010-2011 simply to maintain the current rates of college attendance in Washington (based on fall 2004 participation).
