Higher education costs are going up, but the lifelong benefits of a college degree or certificate make investments in postsecondary education a wise personal choice. The Higher Education Coordinating Board offers information on college costs, provides a convenient way for families to start saving early through the Guaranteed Education Tuition (GET) program, and administers a variety of financial aid programs known collectively as Washington Opportunity Pathways--for students who meet income eligibility and other requirements.
