U.S. Armed Forces
The U.S. Armed Forces offers the following educational programs to help
pay for school.
Military Academies
Students who attend four-year military colleges receive free tuition
and a monthly allowance. In return, they agree to serve in the military
on active duty for at least five years.
Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC)
During college, students take military science courses and participate
in military training activities during the summer. ROTC pays for tuition,
fees and books and provides a monthly allowance in return for service.
Montgomery GI Bill
Students who join the Armed Forces before going to college are eligible
for financial support through the Montgomery GI Bill.
Loan Repayment Program
