The state of Washington and the federal government
offer many financial aid programs and tax benefits to help students and families pay for college. Check with local colleges, universities, and private organizations for additional scholarship opportunities. 

 Washington's Student Financial Assistance Programs

*IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: This is the final year to apply for an Educational Opportunity Grant!

The state legislature recently passed House Bill 2021, which
phases out the EOG program. No new awards can be made after August 1, 2009. 

Your complete application (Part A and B that you fill out
and Part C, which we request from the financial aid office

must be received by July 15, 2009 to be considered for the grant.
