The Federal Pell Grant program helps financially needy undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor’s or professional degree. Students may attend school full-time or part-time.

To be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:

The amount you receive will depend on your financial need, the cost to attend school, your full-time/part-time status, and the number of quarters or semesters you enroll. The maximum Pell Grant for 2004-05 is $4,050.
