Washington Colleges and Universities
Washington is home to six public four-year colleges and universities, 34 public community and technical colleges, and more than 300 independent colleges, universities, and career schools.
Following is a list of degree-granting colleges and universities
legally operating in Washington. This list does not constitute an endorsement
by the Higher Education Coordinating Board.
Public Four-year colleges and universities
The state’s two research universities offer baccalaureate through
professional degree programs. The comprehensive universities and college
offer baccalaureate and master’s level programs. All public research and comprehensive schools participate in state financial aid.
