Betti Sheldon recently retired from the Washington State Senate after serving for 12 years. In the Senate, she held many leadership positions, including majority floor leader, majority caucus vice chairwoman, and majority whip. She also received many awards for her leadership, including the Olympic College Hall of Fame Award and the YMCA’s Strong Kids, Strong Families, Strong Communities Award. Before serving in the Senate, she was executive director of the Bremerton Chamber of Commerce. |
