| Andrew Helm Appointed: July 2009 |
Andrew M. Helm, the board's student member, is a Washington native who has lived and gone to school on both sides of the cascades. He received undergraduate degrees from Spokane Falls Community College and from Eastern Washington University. He currently is a 2011 Doctor of Pharmacy Candidate at Washington State University (WSU). Andrew is heavily involved in student leadership and serves as a student member on the boards of the Spokane Pharmacy Association, the Washington State Pharmacy Association, and the Student Executive Board for the National Community Pharmacists Association – where he also is the National Pharmacy Student President-Elect. Andrew also represents student interests as a liaison for numerous other committees and professional associations. Andrew served a 2008-09 term of office as Senator and Legislative Liaison for the WSU Graduate and Professional Student Association, and as a board member for the Washington Student Association (formerly the Washington Student Lobby). |
