GET Ready for Math and Science Conditional Scholarship

The GET Ready for Math and Science Conditional Scholarship program is a partnership of the Higher Educaiton coordinating Board, the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction, and the College Success Foundation.  The goal of this program is to provide conditional scholarships to low-and-middle income high school students with top math and science test scores. The award is an entitlement, and recipients agree to obtain a bachelor's degree in a math or science field, and work in a math/science profession for three years after obtaining their degree.

 


The GET Ready for Math and Science Conditional Scholarship 
program is suspended for 2011-12.

This program is not currently funded, and no further selections are anticipated.

The suspension will not affect awards for current participants.

 


For current participants:

GET Ready for Math and Science Conditional Scholarship recipients are required to:

  • Successfully complete an average of one math or science class per term.
  • Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.
  • Complete a bachelor's degree in an approved math or science major. Examples of education programs.
  • Work in Washington for three years in a math or science related field. Examples of occupations.
