James Faulstich retired from Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle, after serving as president and chief executive for 20 years. Previously, he was senior vice president of the National Association of Independent Insurers. In Oregon, he served as deputy legislative counsel, state Insurance Commissioner, director of the Department of Economic Development, and a member of the Governor’s Cabinet.

Mr. Faulstich is active in Seattle’s civic community, as chairman of the Seattle Center Foundation and as a trustee of the Housing Partnership, the Seattle Opera Association and the Downtown Seattle Association.
